Initially, in collaboration with ACG - Access & Coating Group Training, TWI Azerbaijan started offering CSWIP training courses to the Kazakhstan market in 2014. However, with the growing demand in the market, TWI established its official centre in Kazakhstan and started operating under the name of TWI Kazakhstan in 2022.
TWI Kazakhstan delivers a wide range of training courses including Welding Inspector, Painting Inspector as well as Non Destructive testing courses. All training courses are certified by internationally recognized certification bodies of CSWIP and BGAS.
NDT training courses are the latest offering of TWI Kazakhstan. Training courses include Ultrasonic Testing of Welds (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Interpretation (RI), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD).
All NDT training courses lead to an internationally recognised certificate of CSWIP or SNT-TC-1A, which are both fully compliant with BS EN ISO 9712 certification schemes. With these certificates, you can work anywhere in the world.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) training courses provided by TWI are industry relevant and give candidates a comprehensive understanding of the processes by which tests are performed on a component without destroying the item or its structure.
NDT is used in many industries, from aerospace, oil and gas, and power generation to nuclear, medical, general manufacturing, and rail. It is an important aspect of quality control and ultimately health and safety.
Common or conventional methods include magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, visual testing, eddy current testing and each has its advantages and disadvantages. With advancements in digital control and imaging, other techniques have been developed including time of flight diffraction, phased array ultrasonic testing, digital and computed radiography, eddy current array and pulsed eddy current.
